The return of Darrell Waltrip to NASCAR meant big ratings for the Craftsman Truck Series at Martinsville. The race scored an impressive 1.19 rating, the highest ever for the Truck Series on ESPN2. This means the Truck race did a higher rating than the overnights for the CART race on Fox! Of course, the household reach was probably about the same because Fox is an OTA network.
