Robby Gordon at the Indy 500 and at Lowes UPDATE:

Robby Gordon at the Indy 500 and at Lowes UPDATE: Robby Gordon ended up 8th as Roger Penske won his 12th Indy 500 as an owner with Helio Castroneves winning his 2nd Indy 500, the only driver ever to do so in two starts and the first back to back winner since Al Unser in 1970-71. There was a fire in Gordon’s pits around lap 80 when the fuel hose didn’t get disconnected and the top blew off the fuel cart/tank in the pits when it cuaght fire but was put out immediately, they had to restart Gordon’s car as it stalled , but Gordon left the pits and is back on the track and no one got injured. The team will be moved to Greg Ray’s pits and use that fuel tank, Ray is out of the race. Weather at Indianapolis was perfect and will not cause Gordon to be late or miss the Coca Cola 600.
