Sadler at IRP

Hermie Sadler will make his second BGN start of the 2002 season this Saturday night when he pilots the Little-Trees Chevrolet in the Kroger 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park. He also plans to enter other selected BGN races later this year in hopes of putting together a full time return to the series in 2003. “My team has come a long way,” stated Sadler. “Last year we ran a limited Winston Cup schedule and this year we have run very well at the races we’ve entered. Our goal for the rest of this season is to attract a full time Busch Series sponsor so we can return to the series full time in 2003. We can tie those marketing opportunites with our limited 2003 Winston Cup schedule.” Sadler feels like he is ready for a full time return to NASCAR after running limited schedules for the past two seasons.while assisting his youngest daughter, Halie Dru, with school and therapy for autism. “The last few years have been trying and have put things into perspective for me. Now, Halie is doing very well and I am ready to focus back on racing. This business is about performing and we’ve proven we can perform even with a limited budget and limited resources. Once we have a full time commitment the performance will be even stronger.”(Sadler Motorsports PR)(7-31-2002)
