Hamilton Cup Plans? Bobby Hamilton might have run out of Winston Cup options for 2003. He had his eyes on two potential rides, but both have now been taken. John Andretti last week re-signed to drive the #43 for Petty Enterprises. Earlier, Casey Mears landed the #41 Target Dodge with Chip Ganassi Racing. Hamilton had expressed an interest in both jobs. Hamilton’s name has been linked with #49 BAM Racing, but that would hardly fit his definition of ”competitive ride,” which he has said is a requirement.
