Bobby Hamilton, whose trucks have won the last two editions of the Florida Dodge Dealers 250, posted the fastest lap at the CTS testing at Daytona International Speedway. #4-Hamilton paced both “regular” sessions of the test with a speed of 182.419mph. #2-Jason Leffler was 2nd fastest at 182.338, #18-Chad Chaffin was third at 182.054, followed by #8-Bill Lester at 181.906 and #1-Ted Musgrave at 181.734. All were in Dodges. Fastest Ford was #29-Terry Cook at 180.846 who was 8th. Fastest Chevy was #88-Matt Crafton at 181.130, 7th.(DIS PR)(1-12-2003)
