Hermie Sadler has landed a full-time Busch Series ride with #54 Team Bristol Motorsports, NASCAR Winston Cup Scene reporter Rick Houston has learned. Sadler, a 33-year-old Emporia, VA, native, ran six BGN races and 10 Winston Cup events in 2002, while concentrating on his family and daughter, Halie Dru, who was diagnosed with autism in 2000. Sadler hasn’t competed regularly on the BGN since 2000, when he made 16 starts for Innovative Motorsports owner George de Bidart. He has raced in the series since 1992 and has two career wins.
