The entertainment lineup for the ninth annual Speed Street, sponsored by Food Lion, was also announced Wednesday. The event opens at noon on May 22 and concludes Saturday evening with 10 p.m. concerts headlined by David Lee Roth, Aaron Tippin and The Presidents of the United States at three separate stages in a eight-block area in uptown Charlotte. A fireworks display will follow those shows. Racing legend Junior Johnson will be the grand marshal for the annual 600 Festival parade on May 20 in uptown Charlotte.( ThatsRacin.com )(5-8-2003)
