Two Great Auctions, One Cause

NASCAR drivers step up for breast cancer early detection through Erik Jones Foundation auction

NASCAR drivers, teams and industry partners are coming together to support breast cancer early detection and care through the Erik Jones Foundation’s 2026 Window of Hope Steps Up campaign. The annual fundraising initiative returns November 2–9 with an online auction hosted by Pristine Auction, offering fans an opportunity to own unique pieces of NASCAR memorabilia while supporting an important cause.

This year’s auction features a collection of autographed, race-worn shoes donated by drivers from across NASCAR. The campaign also includes a particularly rare collectible: a pink window net featuring signatures from the entire NASCAR Cup Series field, along with NASCAR legends Richard Petty, Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth.

“One of the things I’ve always appreciated about NASCAR is how everyone comes together when there’s an opportunity to help people. We’ve had a great response from drivers and teams this year, and I’m grateful they’re willing to be part of Window of Hope. Hopefully, the fans will have some fun bidding on these items while helping us make a difference for people facing breast cancer,” said Erik Jones, NASCAR Cup Series driver and president of the Erik Jones Foundation.

A New Direction for Window of Hope

Window of Hope has brought together NASCAR drivers, teams and fans to raise funds supporting breast cancer early detection and care.

In previous years, the campaign centered on specially produced pink window nets used by NASCAR drivers during competition and subsequently auctioned to benefit charitable organizations.

When the Foundation learned that its longtime manufacturing partner would be unable to produce the pink nets for 2026 because of other production commitments, organizers faced the challenge of preserving the successful fundraising program.

Rather than suspend the initiative, the Foundation developed a new concept: Window of Hope Steps Up.

Drivers were invited to donate autographed, race-worn shoes, creating an entirely new collection of NASCAR memorabilia while maintaining the campaign’s established identity and charitable purpose.

“Window of Hope has become an important part of what we do at the Foundation, and we weren’t going to let a change in circumstances stop us from continuing it,” said Brent Nickola, executive director of the Erik Jones Foundation. “The response from drivers, teams and partners has been tremendous. What started as a challenge has turned into an opportunity to do something different and bring the NASCAR community together in a new way.”

A Rare Piece of NASCAR History

In addition to the donated shoes, the Foundation will auction a pink NASCAR window net featuring signatures from the entire NASCAR Cup Series field.

The net also bears signatures from three of the sport’s most recognizable figures: seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Richard Petty, seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson and 2003 Cup Series champion Matt Kenseth.

Collecting signatures from an entire Cup Series field on a single item is an unusual undertaking, making the net a distinctive collectible for NASCAR fans and memorabilia collectors.

The item reflects the widespread support the Window of Hope campaign has received throughout the sport.

Building on a Successful Fundraising Tradition

The 2025 Window of Hope campaign generated more than $50,000 in charitable impact through its auction, contributions from NASCAR teams and additional support from industry partners.

Funds supported organizations working to improve access to breast cancer screening, early detection and care, including Atrium Health’s Project PINK, the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Superior Health Foundation in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The Erik Jones Foundation hopes to build on that impact in 2026, continuing its commitment to helping individuals and families facing breast cancer.

The auction opens Monday, November 2, and closes Monday, November 9, 2026.
