NASCAR Winston Cup Series #90 team owner Junie Donlavey has always been known to give a young driver a helping hand. A perfect example is the support he has given to his team manager’s ARCA effort for the past couple of years. For this week’s ARCA race at Michigan International Speedway, Donlavey has additional help. Jason Hedlesky, a native of Clinton, MI, will drive the EMP Stewart Components Ford in Saturday’s Flagstar 200. EMP Stewart Components is an industry leader in high performance cooling systems. This will mark Hedlesky’s fourth trip in as many years to MIS. He has been headed for top-10 finishes the past two seasons until engine and pit road glitches spoiled his effort. The only competition Hedlesky has seen this season is The Winston Open in May at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Donlavey will be accompanying the team to Michigan to help Ford celebrate its 100th Anniversary.
