Though rookie Greg Biffle won last month at Daytona, his learning curve would be accelerated by the addition of a veteran Winston Cup crew chief. Biffle’s crew chief is Randy Goss, who is in his first full Winston Cup season in that job. We have a new program that has a new driver and new crew chief, Roush Racing president Geoff Smith said of the re-evaluation the team underwent, to get the right support system around the program. However, Smith added, I can tell you unequivocally that [crew chief] Randy [Goss] wasnt one of the people that will be shifted.
