getting many questions about Kevin Harvick’s burnout at the Brickyard 400 when he popped the tire and tore up the rear 1/4 panel. A far as I know, NASCAR, even thou it was rumored a year ago [dated 8-8-2002] , did not stop the drivers from doing the victory celebrations, just as long as they stay off the top of the roof [remember the pvc ‘fence’?]. If a driver blows a tire, the team puts new ones on before the car is put threw post-race inspection, under NASCAR’s watchful eye of course. The only thing that got a bit messed up from the fender getting tore up, is that the car didn’t go to the wind tunnel, which most teams would love for NASCAR to do, a free wind tunnel test.(8-13-2003)
