#99 Crewman Injured UPDATE:

Crewman Mike Freeman was hit by a truck during a pit stop Saturday at the New Hampshire 200 in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. He was awake and alert before being taken to the hospital, New Hampshire International Speedway officials said. Details of his injuries were not immediately available. Freeman is a catch-can man for rookie Carl Edwards. Edwards appeared to drive into the pits a little too fast and his truck slid into Freeman. Freeman was knocked over the low pit wall.(ThatsRacin.com/AP), it was reported during Speed Channel’s race coverage that Freeman was complaining of hip pain.(9-13-2003)

Contrary to some reports, Freeman DID have a helmet on, he had a black helmet, the rest of the team had white helmets.(9-14-2003)
