Truck Series points leader Brendan Gaughan continued his hot qualifying streak at Big Daddy’s South Boston Speedway Saturday as he won the Bud Pole for the John Boy & Billy 250 with a record average speed of 92.480mph, his third pole in a row and in his career. #50-Jon Wood was second at 92.754 followed by #1-Ted Musgrave, #16-Travis Kravpil and #46-Dennis Setzer. All 36 teams which made attempts qualified for today’s 250-lap race, set to begin at 4:30pm/et on Speed Channel, the affiliates of MRN and XM Satellite Radio.
