A book about the life and career of Darrell Waltrip is scheduled for release Feb. 9th [NOT 7th], 2004. Waltrip, a three-time NASCAR champion and one of the most influential figures in the history of the sport, worked on the book with author Jade Gurss. Gurss authored the biography of Dale Earnhardt Jr. [Driver #8] that spent almost a year on The New York Times bestseller list. Waltrip plans book signings in Daytona and Nashville, but details have yet to be finalized.( Tenneseean ).
