CDC Racing announced the signing of Brian Conz as their driver for the 2004 race season. Conz signed an agreement with Conz/Diaz Champion Racing to drive the #05 Chevy in the NASCAR Busch Series. CDC also hired Crew Chief Dave Leiner. John LaCross, 1998 Winston Cup Engine Builder of the Year will be building engines for CDC Racing for the 2004 season. CDC’s new race shop is located at 192 Raceway Dr. in Mooresville, NC. CDC Racing has also partnered with PSG of Charleston, SC as the team management group. They will be handling sponsorships, autograph requests, and all other business related issues for CDC Racing. Team owners, Butch Conz and Victor Diaz are prominent Republicans and have taken it upon themselves to create a strong grass roots support system of Republican Candidates nationwide starting with the support of President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. There will be a specially designed “Busch/Cheney ’04” logo on the hood of the car for the Daytona race.
