The Goody’s 200 at North Carolina Speedway was slowed by a wicked crash involving Hermie Sadler and Aaron Fike. Fike’s car had spun and stopped in the middle of the track several seconds before Sadler entered the area. Sadler hit Fike’s Dodge at high speed in the driver’s door, lifting the Dodge from the track surface. Officials said Fike was awake and alert in the infield medical center, but he was transferred to an area hospital for evaluation.(Greensville News)(2-22-2004)
