This weekend marks the first time Kyle Busch will race in the Busch and Nextel Cup Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and will make his Nextel Cup debut in the #84 Carquest Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports. Busch has competed in a Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) race at the facility, driving the #99 truck for Roush Racing, Busch qualified third and finished ninth in The Orleans 350 NCTS event on Nov. 14, 2001. Ricky Hendrick, now BuschÃÂÃÂs team owner at Hendrick Motorsports, qualified seventh and finished sixth in the same event.(Golin Harris PR)(3-2-2004)
