Darrell Waltrip and the Toyota Tundra Test Crew were at Lanier National Speedway Tuesday with the Toyota Tundra Craftsman Truck Waltrip plans to race at Martinsville this week. Waltrip was looking for a dry place and made arrangements late Monday evening with Stan Narrison track General Manager to come down from High Point, NC to do some testing. “Things are pretty wet up in these parts of the country and you are the closest place that looks dry”, said Waltrip. Unfortunately it did not stay dry for very long and Waltrip and the Toyota Testing Team had to close up shop early.(LNS Site)(4-15-2004)
