Jamie McMurray, in his first race in the #66 Durflame Dodge owned by Nextel Cup star Rusty Wallace, won the pole for the Siemens 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway. McMurray, named to replace Parker since the last race [Chicago], has five career victories in the Busch Series but had never won a pole in the series until Friday’s lap at 130.006 mph bumped #2-Ron Hornaday’s lap at 129.428 mph from the top spot. #00-Jason Leffler and #20-Mike Bliss will start behind McMurray and Hornaday, with #25-Bobby Hamilton Jr. starting 5th. Busch Series points leader Martin Truex Jr. will start 13th. #44-Justin Labonte, who won last week at Chicago crashed in qualifying and just made the field, starting 42nd. #60-Greg Biffle also crashed on his qualifying run. He will start last in his Ford after taking a former champion’s provisional [since he is in the top 35 of Cup Points, he can’t use a regular provisional].(ThatsRacin.com)
