UPDATE – in #7 Ultra truck: former NASCAR Winston West Series Champion Eric Norris will be back in the saddle again at Texas Motor Speedway. Norris will compete in the Truck Series Silverado 350K on Saturday, October 16, 2004. Norris will drive the #7 -Pavestone Dodge, prepared by Ultra Motorsports. Norris, the son of famed “Walker Texas Ranger” Chuck Norris, is very familiar with Texas and its Great American Speedway. Norris has been a contender at the track in the past and is looking forward to returning to Texas to be part of this competitive event. Both Eric and his dad lived in Texas when filming their famed TV show “Walker Texas Ranger” Norris has spent time this year testing and looking for a full time ride for 2005. Norris who works as a professional Stuntman, Motion Picture and Television director has started downsizing his role in the Hollywood entertainment business to focus on his racing career. Norris won the NASCAR Grand National West Series title in 2002 with his self-owned team, Norris Racing.
