Bobby Hamilton, who owns a three-truck team in the NCTS, was back on the track Wednesday and Thursday for test sessions in his Dodge at Pikes Peak International Raceways 1-mile oval in Fountain, CO “We have a lot of new designs and stuff we wanted to start working out with our trucks,” said Hamilton in a phone interview Thursday from PPIR. “In the Craftsman Truck Series, we dont get to test at the tracks we race at until after Jan. 15 and even then we only get three test sessions. So, we made the long haul out to PPIR because it is a good track that is very consistent, and it is a place we can have all to ourselves when we come here. We had a decent test session Wednesday and the trucks ran even better (Thursday).”(Pueblo Chieftain)(12-11-2004)
