AM session: #24-Jeff Gordon was once again the fastest in Daytona 500 testing at Daytona International Speedway with a speed of 184.786 mph, followed by #88-Dale Jarrett at 184.509, #16-Greg Biffle at 184.487, #19-Jeremy Mayfield at 184.411 and #36-Boris Said at 184.098.
PM session: Three-time Daytona 500 champion Dale Jarrett, driver of the #88 UPS Ford, was fastest during Wednesday’s testing with a lap of 186.455 mph in the afternoon session and the fastest overall in two days of testing. Rounding out the top five were #24-Jeff Gordon at 185.736, #16-Greg Biffle at 185.094, #19-Jeremy Mayfield at 184.972 and #38-Elliott Sadler at 184.926
