Jackson Hewitt Tax Service has dubbed the month of March “Support Our Troops” month and will kick off the event with a national book drive. Jackson Hewitt locations across the U.S. will be accepting book and magazine donations. These donations will then be collected by National Guard representatives and shipped overseas to our servicemen and women that are currently deployed. To help kick off the event, Jackson Hewitt’s three sponsored NASCAR Nextel Cup drivers – #6-Greg Biffle, #15-Michael Waltrip and #9-Kasey Kahne – will each be making the first book donation. In addition, the drivers will help Jackson Hewitt support and promote the program. Jackson Hewitt has other events planned for the month of March in support of U.S. troops, including a “Military Family Night” at bowling centers across the country. The bowling event is a chance for military families to enjoy a night out with each other and to reconnect with family members that have returned from having been deployed for an extended period of time.
