Though NASCAR Nextel Cup cars were impounded [see full rules below] this weekend after qualifying Friday, Kyle Busch’s team on Saturday was allowed to prepare a backup car for today’s race at Atlanta after the 19-year-old Cup rookie wrecked his primary car in qualifying.
