#5-Kyle Busch won the CarQuest Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. It was Busch’s 2nd spring race win at LMS. #40-Sterling Marlin was 2nd, followed by #39-Ryan Newman, #66-Greg Biffle and #41-Reed Sorenson. Points leader, #60-Carl Edwards finished 35th but holds on to the points lead by 171, only losing 9 points to #2-Clint Bowyer who finished 32nd. Pole sitter #6-Casey Kahne led 40 laps until he had a tire go down and hit the turn 1 wall, ending his day at 41st. There were 11 for 49 laps [record] and 13 among 9 drivers.
