Infineon Raceway Notes:

• Tony Stewart won the Dodge/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway, scoring his 20th NASCAR NEXTEL Cup victory in his 228th career start.
• This is Stewart’s first victory in 2005. His last victory came at Watkins Glen in 2004, 30 races ago.
• Stewart became the eighth different race winner in 2005.
• Stewart moved to 29th on NASCAR’s All-time win list tied with Speedy Thompson.
• This marked the seventh victory for Chevrolet in 2005. Ford has eight and Dodge has one.
• Stewart climbed from sixth to fourth in the NASCAR NEXTEL CUP point standings and is now 198 behind firstplace Greg Biffle.
• Stewart scored his second victory at Infineon Raceway. He also won here in 2001. It is Stewart’s fourth victory in 13 career road-course races.
• Stewart led three times for 39 laps, including the final 11, and led the most laps for the fourth time this season.
• Stewart has scored eight top-10 finishes in 16 races this season.
• Stewart scored the second victory for car owner Joe Gibbs at Infineon Raceway. Gibbs last won here when Stewart won here in 2002. This was Gibbs’ 43rd victory as a car owner and first this season.

• Jimmie Johnson (36th) ended a 12-race run as leader of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup point standings. Greg Biffle moved into the point lead for the first time in his NASCAR NEXTEL CUP career. Johnson has lost 145 points in the last two races.
• Seven of the top-10 positions in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup point standings changed at Infineon Raceway.
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. (42nd) dropped from 17th to 18th in the point standings and is now 543 points behind point leader Greg Biffle.
• Jimmie Johnson (36th) has ranked in the top-10 of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series point standings for 49 consecutive races, the longest current streak. The streak began at Atlanta in March 2004.
