Harvick wins at Richmond:

#21-Kevin Harvick won the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond International Raceway for his 3rd win of the season and 16th of his Busch Series career [126 races] and 2nd Busch win at Richmond. #11-Paul Menard was 2nd for his career best, followed by #17-Matt Kenseth, #9-Mark Martin and #32-Jason Leffler. The race was extended three laps under a green-white-checkered for a late caution. Points leader #8-Martin Truex Jr. was involved in a few odd incidents, the 1st, he ran into the rear of the #17, knocking a few hood pins out and getting black flagged by NASCAR and finally had to come in to get them put in, then late in the race, Truex was on the outside of #38-Mike Wallace who moved up the track [said he has no idea Truex was there], squeezing Truex against the wall, causing the call to ride the wall and turn on it’s side, sliding along the track until it righted itself, but in pretty bad shape. Truex got out of the car and ran out onto the track to confront Wallace and gave him ‘the bird’…guess we’ll see Tuesday if he will be fined/penalized. Anyhow, the team got Truex back out and he was able to finish 27th, 16 laps down since there was a lot of cars out. #6-Erin Croker got tangled with #35-Jason Keller and ended up finishing 39th. Truex’s point lead has gone from 204 points three races ago to 94 over #2-Clint Bowyer, who finished 11th. There were 11 cautions for 63 laps and 9 lead changes among 6 drivers. Harvick led 149 of 253 laps.
