Frank Cicci Racing with Jim Kelly is now seeking new sponsorship for the 2006 Busch Series season. Owner Frank Cicci was informed that its primary sponsor this season, the Dollar General Corporation, has elected not to renew its sponsorship with his organization. The team’s current driver is 2-time Busch Series champion Randy LaJoie. “We enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Dollar General this season, and we will continue representing the company in the most professional manner during the remaining races on the 2005 schedule”, Cicci stated. “We are grateful for the opportunity that we had to represent the company in its very first sports sponsorship of any type, and we wish Dollar General the best of luck in its move forward in NASCAR and in giving us the time we will need to find new sponsorship for 2006”, Cicci added. NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, a marketing partner with the Frank Cicci Racing operation, will continue his relationship with the Mooresville, North Carolina-based race organization next season.(PR)(9-14-2005)
