Car owner Rick Hendrick watched nervously from his home the final laps of the race at Dover recovering from a touch of the flu; however that didnt stop him from getting word to his rookie driver #5-Kyle Busch prior to racing teammate #48-Jimmie Johnson for the win. I called Doug Duchardt (V.P. of Development) and I said give Alan Gustafson (Buschs crew chief) a message tell him to tell Kyle not to do anything stupid (laughs) Then when the flag dropped on the green, white, checkered I said evidently he didnt get the message. So, Monday morning I said, you didnt get my message? Kyle said I got it .I wasnt on him I didnt touch him! I said, well it was too close for me.
