Martin Truex Jr. won the IROC race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for his first IROC win in his 4th race, the 48th driver to win an IROC race. Mark Martin finished 2nd and clinced the 2005 Crown Royal IROC Championship, his 5th career championship, winning $1 million. Matt Kenseth finished 3rd, followed by Helio Catrobeves and Danny Lasoski. Truex finished 2nd to Martin in the championship standings.(10-29-2005)
