McFarland Strains Shoulder in Milwaukee Accident: UPDATE 3: Truex Back in at Chicago:

JR Motorsports Busch Series driver Mark McFarland suffered strained muscles in a late crash in Saturday’s AT&T 250 at Milwaukee. At the infield care center, McFarland was determined to have strained muscles in his right shoulder. He was released and traveled back to North Carolina with his Dale Earnhardt Jr.-owned race team. UPDATE: Initial reports indicating NASCAR Busch Series driver Mark McFarlands clearance to race this weekend at Daytona International Speedway proved to be erroneous when additional MRI scans were reviewed by doctors late Tuesday night. As a result, two-time Busch Series champion and defending race winner Martin Truex Jr. will step in to drive the JR Motorsportss #88 Navy Accelerate Your Life Chevy this weekend.(JR Motorsports PR)(6-28-2006)
UPDATE 2: JR Motorsports driver Mark McFarland says he will miss at least two weeks with a dislocated right shoulder suffered in an accident last Saturday in the AT&T 250 Busch Series race at the Milwaukee Mile.
