The non-top 35 teams that made the race were: #78-Wallace, #40-Stremme, #32-Kvapil, #4-Wimmer, #49-Lepage, #55-Waltrip, #95-Barrett and #00-Elliott made the field using the Champions Provisional. Missing the race were: #61-Christopher, #34-McCarthy, #74-Cope and #89-Shepherd.
