Harvick wins pole at New Hampshire:

#29-Kevin Harvick won the Budweiser Pole for the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire International Speedway with a speed of 132.282mph for his 1st pole of 2006, 1st since Richmond last Sept. and 5th of his career. Starting on the outside pole is #24-Jeff Gordon, #2-Kurt Busch, #12-Ryan Newman and #11-Denny Hamlin are the top-5, rounding out the top-10 are #40-Stremme, #48-Johnson, #16-Biffle, #7-Gordon and #21-Schrader [1st top 10 start of the season]. #8-Earnhardt Jr. qualified 13th. The non-top 35 teams that made the race were: #45-Petty, #32-Kvapil, #55-Waltrip, #61-Chaffin, #4-Wimmer, #49-Lepage, #89-Shepherd and #27-Christopher. Missing the race were: #30-Barrett, #34-Blount, #46-Long, #74-Cope and #78-Wallace. The fastest 43 drivers made the race and #61-Chaffin made the race in a backup with no laps on the car and just beating the 5 minute clock as the final driver to go out and make an attempt.
