A spectacular crash on the final lap brought out a yellow/checkered flag and Mark Martin came out the winner. This was Martin’s fifth win for the 2006 season. Mike Wallace and Derrike Cope were both turned right head-on into the turn three wall, with Cope nearly turning over as both trucks suffered severe damage. A late race penalty for Todd Bodine for passing below the yellow line took away his chances for the win. After doing a pass through, Bodine came back to finish 4th. There were 12 lead changes among 9 drivers; 7 cautions for 23 laps.(10-7-2006)
