The Busch Series will run on a slightly different tire this year on road courses than it did last year. The tire will be a little more resistant to heat and wear than in the past, said Goodyear’s Chad Fletcher, who oversees the Busch program for the tire company. The Busch tire is different than the Nextel Cup tire because the Busch tire is smaller in radius in order to keep it the same radius as the old rain tire compound, which will be used if it rains Sunday.
