In an effort to promote Autism Awareness Month, #19-Elliott Sadler has been wearing a special autism awareness helmet at the races at Texas, Phoenix and Talladega. The auction started today and will run thru May 7th. The winning bidder will receive a Certificate of Authenticity from Elliott Sadler on Elliott Sadler Enterprises letterhead. All proceeds from the online auction will benefit the Hermie and Elliott Sadler Charitable Foundation. The helmet, which was donated by Impact Racing, sports the multi-colored puzzle piece logo of the Autism Society. The complex design was painted by Ryan Young of Indocil Art, who handles the majority of helmet paintings for Evernham Motorsports. See more and to bid on my Racing Charities page.(4-30-2007)
