#12-Ryan Newman won the Budweiser Pole for the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway with a speed of 185.312mph for his 2nd pole of 2007, 6th at LMS and 39th of his career. Newman has only won three races in the 38 races which he won the pole. #2-Kurt Busch qualified 2nd after being the slowest in practice, picking up over 8mph over practice. The rest of the top-10 are #19-Sadler, #8-Earnhardt Jr., #17-Kenseth, #11-Hamlin, #88-Rudd, #22-Blaney [best of the non top-35 teams], #43-Labonte and #40-Stremme. Points leader #24-Gordon will start 32nd. The non-top 35 teams that made the race were: #22-Blaney, #10-Riggs, #21-Elliott, #44-Jarrett, #36-Mayfield, #84-Allmendinger and #78-Wallace.
