#7-Pennington Motorsports switching manufacturer? UPDATE 2: It’s official:

During the pre-race show on SPEED/TV, analyst Ray Dunlap reported that the #7-Hooters Energy Drink truck owned by J. L. Pennington may be changing manufacturers from Chevy in the near future. Possibly to Dodge?(6-16-2007)
UPDATE: An official close to Pennington Motorsports has stated the team will make the official announcement next week regarding the team’s manufacturer switch from Chevrolet to Dodge. Pennington Motorsports also confirms that Jason White will remain the team’s driver for the rest of the 2007 season.(7-5-2007)
UPDATE 2: Officials from Pennington Motorsports have announced that beginning with this weekend’s festivities leading up to Saturday night’s Kentucky Built Ford Tough 225, the #7 Hooters Energy Drink team has switched from Chevy to Dodge for the remainder of the 2007 Craftsman Truck Series season. Pennington Motorsports joins Bobby Hamilton Racing (#4 and #18) as the only other full time team hoisting the Dodge banner.(TruckSeries.com)(7-12-2007)
