This is Kasey’s second top-spot of the season (he took down Vegas in February) and 14th of his Nextel Cup career. Jamie McMurray (3rd) has his best starting spot since he had the pole at Infineon Raceway in June. David Ragan (4th) has his career-best starting spot this weekend. His previous best was 10th at Talladega in April. Dave Blaney (5th) has his best starting spot since he had the pole at New Hampshire in July. Ricky Rudd (8th) has his best starting spot since he lined up 7th at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in May. Scott Riggs (11th) has his best starting spot since he started 11th at Dover in June.
