The #99 Office Depot pit crew for Roush Fenway Racing has enjoyed a celebration in victory lane three times this season, including twice during the third quarter, as they made a strong push for driver Carl Edwards to race into the Chase for the Championship. In addition to a Chase birth, the pit crew for the #99 Office Depot team has been named the Mechanix Wear Most Valuable Pit Crew for the third quarter of the season. The Mechanix Wear Most Valuable Pit Crew Award is given quarterly throughout the Nextel Cup Season. At the end of each quarter, the winning pit crew is determined by a vote of each team’s crew chief. The four quarterly winners are eligible for the year-end Mechanix Wear Most Valuable Pit Crew Award and a check for $100,000 awarded at the 2007 Nextel Cup Series Awards Banquet in New York City.(Mechanix Wear/Clear!Blue PR)(10-17-2007)
