Daytona testing is over for the first session with #18B-Busch being the fastest in a drafting session, Busch was also fast in the AM practice. #17B-Kenseth was 2nd, followed by #41B-Sorenson, #24B-Gordon and #1B-Truex Jr. No incidents were reported.(NASCAR Media). On SPEED’s coverage of practice, it was reported that Carl Edwards helped test the #28 Yates Racing Ford, #5-Mears lost an engine and the #16 and #1 teams each brought a third car for Wednesday test, didn’t see them listed on the speed chart, they were #16C-Biffle and #1C-Truex Jr. See the speeds on the Daytona Testing page.(1-9-2008)
