Stacy Compton will drive the #4 Bobby Hamilton Racing Dodge in the Craftsman Truck Series this season, team spokesman Amanda Jones confirmed Thursday. Compton, a co-owner of BHR partner Arrington Manufacturing, and Dennis Setzer will drive for the organization in 2008. Compton, who drove for Wood Brothers/JTG Racing in the trucks last season, in addition to working for ESPN, has two career wins in the series.(SceneDaily.com)(1-10-2008)
UPDATE: During an interview by Dave Moody on Sirius Radio, Stacy Compton said that Dodge will be heavily involved with the team and sponsorship will be provided by Dodge Dealers on the #4 Dodge. Compton is one of five owners of the team. Compton also said that there is a possibility of adding a third team if sponsorship falls into place. Compton also stated that he would not be returning as as analyst for ESPN as he plans to run the full season in the Truck Series.(1-10-2008)
