Nationwide Series Action Live from Daytona:

The 2008 season for the Nationwide Series kicks off this weekend, and ESPN2 will have live, flag-to-flag coverage of the Camping World 300 presented by Chevy from Daytona International Speedway Saturday, Feb. 16, beginning at noon ET with NASCAR Countdown. ESPN2 will be the home of the Nationwide Series (formerly Busch Series) all season, with selected races on ESPN and ABC. The mammoth Daytona track is the scene for the series biggest event of the year as stars from the series battle drivers from the Sprint Cup Series for 300 miles. Kevin Harvick won last years race, while Carl Edwards had a strong run to start his championship season in the series. Dr. Jerry Punch will be the lead announcer for ESPN2s coverage, joined in the booth for analysis by Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree. Dave Burns, Jamie Little, Mike Massaro and Shannon Spake will report from the pits, while Tim Brewer will be in the ESPN DISH Tech Center. Allen Bestwick will host NASCAR Countdown with analysis by Rusty Wallace and Brad Daugherty in the ESPN pit studio. ESPN2 also will have live coverage of Nationwide Series qualifying Friday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m. and final practice Thursday, Feb. 14, at 9:30 a.m.(ESPN PR)(2-11-2008)
