* Kasey Kahne won the Pocono 500 at Pocono Raceway, scoring his ninth career series victory in 158 races. He led the most laps, five times for 69 laps. He is the third multiple-race winner in 2008. * Five of Kahne’s nine wins have come from the Coor’s Light pole. Kahne is the 13th driver to win from a top-10 starting position in the 14 races in 2008. Kahne’s last series victory came at Lowe’s, two races ago. * This was Kahne’s first victory in nine races at Poco#His previous best Pocono finish was third in August 2004. This marked his third top-10 finish at Pocono, and he became the 28th different race winner in 61 races at Pocono. * This is the second victory for Gillette Evernham Motorsports in 2008. * Brian Vickers (second) scored his best finish in 2008.
