As both a Hollywood stuntman and a NASCAR driver, performing double-duty is something that Stanton Barrett has grown accustomed to. But this weekend, the phrase takes on a new meaning for the NOS Energy Drink team driver as he pilots the #30 NOS Energy Drink car in the Nationwide Series Food City 250 as well as the #50 NOS Energy Drink machine in the Sprint Cup Series Sharpie 500, both at Bristol Motor Speedway. “I’m looking to have good qualifying runs with both the NOS Cup car and Nationwide Car this weekend,” said Barrett. “I love Bristol. It’s my favorite track and anytime we race here it shapes up to be one of the best weekends of the year.” Barrett has a special affinity for the short-track circuit as his first NASCAR start came back in 1992 in what is now known as the Nationwide Series at this very course.
