Although FOX Sports has concluded its NASCAR broadcasts for the 2010 season, Darrell Waltrip will continue to offer viewers his expertise and insight on NASCAR RaceDay, Trackside Live and various NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice and qualifying sessions on SPEED throughout the summer months. Waltrip will replace Kyle Petty on NASCAR RaceDay for the Michigan (June 13), Infineon Raceway (June 20), Daytona (July 3) and Chicagoland (July 10) events. He also will fill in for Elliott Sadler on Trackside Live and serve as an analyst for SPEED’s broadcast of the Cup Series practice and qualifying broadcasts during these weekends, while Jeff Hammond simultaneously steps in to handle Petty’s NASCAR Victory Lane duties. Additionally, Jimmy Spencer will return to NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane for the Pocono (June 6) and New Hampshire (June 27) events, replacing Petty as an analyst.(SPEED)(6-3-2010)
