There may be one person who can offer “survival” pointers to the Chase drivers currently on the bubble heading into this weekend’s race at Pocono Raceway — Tom Westman, the winner of Season 10 of CBS’ reality television series, “Survivor: Palau” along with its $1 million prize. This past season, Westman, 46, a former 20-year FDNY Lieutenant, reprised his “hero” role participating in “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.” Now, The Hartford employee and Long Island native will put his skills to the test Sunday in an attempt to survive his latest challenge ‘Â “Survivor: Pocono” ‘Â serving as an honorary pit crew member of The Hartford No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet and driver Clint Bowyer, who currently sits in the 12th and final position in the points standings.(Catalyst PR)(7-31-2010)
