  • Ten drivers have clinched a spot in the 2010 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Two more spots remain in the 12-driver field, and below are the clinch scenarios for Richmond International Raceway, the cut-off race for the Chase:
    #16-Greg Biffle, 11th place
    Biffle currently is 161 points ahead of 13th place. Regardless of any other driver’s finish, Biffle will clinch if he finishes:
    · 42nd or better
    · If Biffle leads at least one lap, he will clinch no matter where he finishes.
    #33-Clint Bowyer, 12th place
    Bowyer is currently 117 points ahead of 13th place. Regardless of any other driver’s finish, Bowyer will clinch if he finishes:
    · 28th or better
    · 29th and leads at least one lap
