In preparation for Saturday night’s short track race at Richmond International Raceway, Regan Smith and the #78 Furniture Row Racing team spent part of last week testing at the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Wis. “We’ve been showing improvement in many areas this season,” said Smith, driver of the #78 Furniture Row Chevy. “But if there’s one area that we feel needs extra attention it is our short track performances. As a driver I am happy that we had the opportunity to test at the Milwaukee Mile and it’s one more indication of the commitment to the future that our Furniture Row Racing team is making.” Smith added, “We came away from the Milwaukee test feeling that what we learned will have a positive impact, especially at the next two races in Richmond and New Hampshire.”(FRR)(9-9-2010)
