ABC’s telecast of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday night, Sept. 11, won the night among broadcast networks, leading the way in viewers and in the Adult 18-49 demographic. The telecast averaged 5,288,372 viewers with a 3.1 rating and averaged 3,610,119 households, according to the Nielsen Company. Last year’s race earned a 3.5 rating. The overnight ratings were 2.8 with a 5 share, down from last years 3.1/6.
ESPN2’s telecast of Friday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Richmond earned a final national household coverage rating of 1.2, averaging 1,655,0023 viewers.
